Out of all the places in California, our favorite three would have to be San Francisco, Lodi, and San Diego. San Francisco is an amazing city with a lot to beautiful views to offer, but the entire city smells like piss. From the Golden Gate Bridge to Fisherman’s Wharf, there’s always something to see or do. Not to mention, the food in San Francisco is some of the best in the state.
Lodi is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a more relaxed pace. The city is known for its vineyards and wineries, and it’s a great place to spend an afternoon exploring. We loved Lodi so much, we didn’t want to leave – and if it wasn’t so damn expensive, we would’ve stayed for a few months.
San Diego is one of the most beautiful cities in California. The beaches are incredible, and there’s always something going on. Much like with Lodi, if it wasn’t so damn expensive, we would have happily stayed longer. We stayed in Hillcrest for about a month and loved every moment of it.
